Full Job Description

VizzaLights, LLC is hiring an experienced consultative closer to convert warm, company-provided leads into installed projects.

What We Do:

We are a home service business that installs permanent architectural lighting — a low-voltage system that disappears into a home's roofline during the day and lights the house at night. We are growing our company across Northeast Florida and looking for the right team members to grow with us.

No driving. No kitchen tables. No Saturdays.

If you have spent years in home improvement sales — sitting in a stranger's living room at 8pm, burning a tank of gas a week, giving up weekends — this role is the same money without the mileage. You'll sell from a desk, Monday through Friday, working leads we generate and hand to you.

You'll run consultative conversations with homeowners, design a lighting configuration for their home, present it, and close it — all by phone. You are not prospecting, not buying your own leads, and not competing with three other quotes on price. Most of the homeowners you speak with have never seen a product like this before, and there is usually no one else bidding.

What You'll Own

The conversation

Work company-provided leads from paid social, canvassing, referrals, and inbound calls
Run real discovery — the home, the goal, the budget, the decision-maker
Design and present a lighting configuration matched to the property
Present pricing and payment options clearly
Close by phone, collect the deposit, and get the agreement signed

The pipeline

Keep every lead, conversation, and quote current in the CRM
Work structured follow-up on anything that doesn't close on first contact
Forecast your week and know where your number is coming from
Tell us what you're hearing — lead quality, objections, pricing pushback

The handoff

Set expectations our crews can actually meet on scope and timeline
Flag anything site-specific you learned on the call
Follow up after install for the review and the referral

What We're Looking For

Required

2+ years of consultative sales with average tickets of $2,500 or more
A verifiable record of hitting or beating a number
Comfortable closing by phone — presenting price and asking for the business without sitting across from someone
Disciplined follow-up; you work a lead until it's a yes or a no, not until it's inconvenient
You listen more than you pitch
Able to work in-office at our Jacksonville location — this role is not remote or hybrid
Willing to have calls recorded and reviewed for coaching

Preferred

Home improvement or home services sales — roofing, solar, windows, HVAC, remodeling, security, outdoor living, or landscape lighting
Experience presenting consumer financing as part of the close
Experience selling something visual, where the customer is imagining a result rather than replacing something broken
You've worked company-provided leads before and know what speed-to-lead means

Why This Role Is Different

Most sales jobs in this industry ask you to generate your own pipeline, drive to the appointment, and then compete against two other bids on price. You do the work, and the margin gets negotiated away in someone's living room.

That is not this role. The leads come to you. The product is one almost no one else in this market sells, which means you are rarely the fourth quote and almost never the cheapest option someone is grinding down. Your job is to have a good conversation and help someone picture their house — not to survive a bidding war.

You'll work directly with the founder. What you hear on the phone will change what we build, what we charge, and where we expand next. If you are good at this and you've been waiting for a product worth selling and leads worth working, this is the job.

Your first 90 days are guaranteed at $1,000 per week while you learn the product and build a pipeline — that's a $52,000 annualized rate before commission performance is established. The guarantee is not a draw. We do not claw it back, and you do not pay it off out of future commissions.

After ramp, the base is still real money you keep regardless of production. Commission is uncapped and paid on installed projects.
