Full Job Description

In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing timely, accurate financial insights to leadership by preparing and analyzing journal entries, reviewing income and balance sheet activity, and compiling critical reports. You’ll also dig into inventory transactions, cost variances, and partner across multiple teams to identify process improvements that strengthen efficiency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

Support month-end close by preparing standard and non-standard journal entries with proper documentation, investigating unusual entries or balances, and producing management reports with commentary.
Reconcile inventory balances daily, research discrepancies, and work closely with Audit to resolve issues.
Analyze cost variances, including material usage, purchase price, and yield differences.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency; update and maintain process documentation.
Cross-train within the Operations Finance team to broaden your skill set and ensure coverage across functions.
Uphold internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP for inventory and related accounting activities.
Apply sound judgment and discretion in resolving sensitive issues.
Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of accounting or finance experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Experience with US GAAP, SOX, IAS, and IFRS standards
Excel proficiency (formulas, charts, macros)
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
