Job Summary
Spherion Staffing & Recruiting of Eastern TN is looking for an On-Premise Recruiter. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Greeneville, TN. Our On-Premise Recruiters are one of the critical links between our employees and the client and are responsible for managing the relationship with the managed service provider (MSP). The On-Premise Recruiter will be the liaison between Spherion and our client, working directly on their premises to build and maintain relationships with department managers and plant leaders.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm. Some Saturdays may be required seasonally.
Pay Range: $40,000 to 50,000 per year
Responsibilities
-Spend at least 3-4 hours a day on a manufacturing production floor
- Be present during peak manufacturing cycles
- Communicate professionally with client management and employees
- Call, email and text candidates and employees to ensure all open positions are filled
- Ensure that key metrics (weekly, monthly, annual) are being met
- Manage the candidate sourcing, assessing, hiring, and onboarding process
- Coach and guide employees, which may include terminations
- Maintain daily attendance tracking, reporting and audits with electronic timekeeping system
- Process weekly payroll for employees with impeccable accuracy
- Conduct and manage investigations which may include employee relations issues, worker’s compensation, and unemployment claims
-Work collaboratively with Spherion team, the client and the other on-site staffing agencies
Experience & Qualifications
-Must have an associate's degree
-1-3 years experience in management or sales
-Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office Suites, G Suites and exceptionally fast on computers
-Must be able to maintain professional image in person, on the phone, and in writing
-Some experience with processing payroll
-Positive attitude and go-getter
-Understand business operations from a tactical and operational perspective
-Able to influence and negotiate as well as communicate (both written and verbally)
-Identify and understand business problems/challenges, determine range of alternatives/options and recommend/adopt a solution and execute fully
Required Skills
- Excellent computer and data entry skills
- Experience using Excel
- The ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Tolerance working in hot or cold environments and being exposed to the elements
- This position requires standing for long-periods and walking up to several miles in a shift.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
