Position Impact and Purpose…
This individual will perform highly technical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and process standards within a tier one automotive supplier machining manufacturing facility.

Functional Area: Customer Service Estimated Effort: 70%

Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes, and Expectations:
Commitment to YSK objectives regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, and management as communicated in the handbook, shift meetings, and postings
Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
Read and interpret wire schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required planned maintenance and service
CNC machine monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair
Diagnosing machine problems using PLC ladder logic
Replace and/or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
Perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities
Utilize hand tools, multi-meter, gauges, calipers, and specialty tools to maintain equipment

Functional Area: Project Work Estimated Effort: 20%

Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes, and Expectations
5S projects (Sort, Set-in-order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) work areas.
Perform scheduled maintenance on machines during shutdowns.
Perform inspections, audits, or inventory for maintenance items.
Perform/assist with new machinery installation.
Verify asset numbers on equipment
Team involvement in Kaizen or Quality Circles

Serves as part of the YSK team and collaborates to promote program activities, service coordination, and continuous improvement measures
Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times

Minimum Requirements…

Education: High School Diploma and Associates Degree is preferred

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Experience in machining, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and CNC is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
