Standard Shift: Sunday ? Thursday 1:30 PM ? 9:30PM

Job Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities may vary by Aramark location depending on client requirements and business needs.
Prepare and cook a variety of foods in accordance with production guidelines and standardized recipes.
Set up and maintain workstations with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment.
Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling as required.
Safely operate a variety of kitchen utensils, including knives and cutting tools.
Use kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers in a safe and efficient manner.
Apply various cooking methods, including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming, to prepare meats, vegetables, and other food items.
Portion, arrange, and garnish food according to established presentation standards.
Store food properly in compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and dishware used by kitchen staff and customers.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, professional attitude toward guests, clients, and team members.
Follow all Aramark safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
Safeguard company assets and maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications

- Experience as a cook or in a related role required
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
- Must be able to acquire food safety certification
- Must be available to work evenings and occasionally outside of standard business hours as needed to support culinary operations.
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
