CNC Operator / Programmer – Stone Fabrication
Job Summary
Dynamic Marble & Granite is seeking an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery used in the fabrication of granite, quartz, marble, and other natural and engineered stone products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate CNC machines for countertop fabrication.
- Import and review digital templates for production.
- Verify measurements and material specifications before machining.
- Set up tooling and perform machine calibration as needed.
- Monitor machine performance and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Troubleshoot programming and machine issues.
- Coordinate with the sales, templating, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC programming and operating experience required.
- Experience in stone fabrication preferred.
- Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and digital templates.
- Familiarity with CNC software and CAD/CAM programming.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Park Industries, Breton, BACA, Northwood, or similar stone fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, and other countertop materials.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
