Administrative Assistant
JSL, Inc. – Greensboro, NC
Full-Time | On-site

About the Role:

JSL, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to support both our office and warehouse operations. This position serves as a key link between customers, production, inventory, sales, and internal teams, helping keep our daily operations organized and running efficiently.

This position supports multiple departments and requires someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift throughout the day. Every day is different, and the ideal candidate thrives on staying organized, communicating effectively, solving problems, and helping the team succeed.

Whether you have previous administrative experience or are looking to begin a career in an office environment, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

We are looking for someone who is seeking a long-term opportunity to grow with our team and make a meaningful contribution to our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and direct them as appropriate
Procure and send product samples and other packages
Create work tickets/POPs in advance of production needs
Monitor the production calendar and coordinate schedules with Repack teams
Allocate jobs and determine optimal pallet layouts for production/shipping
Print and distribute appropriate product labeling
Generate pick lists for staging repack work
Organize production jobs to ensure clarity and efficiency
Notify inventory personnel of any shortages or outages
Coordinate internal employee and retail sales
File paperwork accurately and promptly
Maintain inventory of office supplies
Assist the Customer Service Representative & Inventory Control staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required. For example: enter sales orders as needed, ensure that all pricing for customers is accurate and entered correctly onto orders, verify product availability for orders, diligently work to resolve customer issues

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous administrative, customer service, office support, or other customer-facing experience.
Associate degree in Office Administration or a related field.

Administrative experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, reliability, initiative, and a strong desire to learn.
