Position Summary:

Housekeeping Crew Members perform a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services during facility use. Also responsible for routine trash removal and facility cleanup. The Housekeeping Crew Members must have the ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays in preparing for an event. The role will also perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work in the cleaning and care of the facilities.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.00 to $21.00.

Benefits for Full-Time roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).

This position will remain open until October 23, 2026.

About the Venue:

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, such as athletic competitions, cultural arts showcases, concerts, theater performances, educational activities, fairs, exhibits, as well as public and private gatherings, including conventions, convocations, trade shows, and consumer shows. It plays a crucial role as a hub of community activities and significantly contributes to the regional economy. The Complex is made up of nine venues, the largest being the renowned 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, which has a storied history of hosting prestigious ACC and NCAA basketball championships, and a concert history featuring legendary artists like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Elvis Presley, as well as today’s biggest artists like Drake, Bad Bunny, and Taylor Swift.

The Complex also includes the 167,000-square foot Special Events Center, encompassing three exhibition halls, a 4,500-seat mini-arena, and eight meeting rooms. Additionally, there's White Oak Amphitheatre, Piedmont Hall, the Novant Health Fieldhouse, Greensboro Aquatic Center, The Terrace, ACC Hall of Champions, and the 300-seat Odeon Theatre. As one of the most actively booked facilities in the country, the Greensboro Complex annually hosts over 1,100 events. Its extraordinary flexibility and reputation have earned it worldwide acclaim among promoters, producers, event planners, and patrons alike.

Responsibilities:

Mix and prepare cleaning products; clean Coliseum interior and exterior; vacuum, sweep, mop, clean, and wax floors. Ensures a safe environment for patrons; removes liquids and debris from walkways through the building during events.
Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures; replenish supplies in restrooms.
Wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops.
Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways, and Coliseum facilities; empty waste receptacles.
Perform additional staff functions for events.
Report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance.
Required to follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
1+ years of related working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Abilility to walk/stand the entire shift, bend, and stoop.
Must be flexible to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Required to successfully complete on-site CPR and bloodborne pathogen training.
