Full Job Description

Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

Travel assignment with flexible shifts depending on facility needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current certification as an Echo Technologist (RDCS or RCS).
Valid and active state licensure in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
Proficiency in performing routine and advanced echocardiograms.
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate ultrasound equipment for echocardiograms in accordance with diagnostic protocols.
Obtain high-quality cardiac images and accurately document findings.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other clinicians to assess patient conditions.
Maintain equipment hygiene, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality.
Educate patients about procedures and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.

$2,130 - $2,253/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
