Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and restaurant policies

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as country club
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during high-volume shifts
Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus; experience in bussing or guest relations is beneficial
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
