Language Resource Center (LRC) is seeking professional freelance interpreters (independent contractors) to support a valued healthcare client in Greensboro, NC and surrounding communities, including Winston-Salem, Kernersville, High Point, Burlington, Lexington, Thomasville, Asheboro, and nearby areas.
We are currently recruiting interpreters in a variety of languages. Preferred languages include, but are not limited to:

Position Overview
As a freelance interpreter with Language Resource Center, you will provide in-person interpretation services that facilitate accurate communication between patients and healthcare providers. Our interpreters play a vital role in ensuring equitable access to healthcare for individuals with limited English proficiency and members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

- Accept only assignments they can reliably fulfill.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional interpreting experience (medical interpreting preferred).
- Interpreter certification or credentials are preferred but not required for all languages.
- ASL interpreters working in North Carolina must possess a current NCITLB license.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Greensboro region.
- Ability to work as an independent contractor.
