Full Job Description

Amcase is a manufacturer of casegoods used in the healthcare industry and office environments. Applicants for the panel saw operator position will need experience in furniture and cabinetmaking, woodworking, carpentry or other related fields. Experience in other areas of manufacturing can also be beneficial. There will be opportunities to advance in the company and learn new skills. The starting salary will be based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

Start machine each morning and prepare area for cutting
Use saw controller to access cut programs for each job
Complete cutting of raw materials that include particle board, plywood, acrylic, solid surface, laminate, phenolic, and TFM boards (thermally fused melamine)
Print labels and attach to completed parts
Use metric tape measure to verify sizes of raw materials and completed parts
Perform daily maintenance and cleanup of machine and surrounding area
Monitor saw blades for wear and change blades as needed
Empty 55 gallon dust barrels when needed
Use forklift to bring raw materials to the saw for cutting, and empty large dumpster
Organize laminate and other raw materials in storage racks

Additional Employee requirements include:

1 year experience running an automated panel saw in a furniture manufacturing plant
Speak and read English
Lift minimum of 60 pounds
Wear proper personal protective equipment
Follow safety guidelines
Report for work on time each day
Be prepared to work overtime as needed
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Professionalism

Work Remotely

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
