Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, supporting month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with audit processes.

Job Duties:

Prepare and post general ledger journal entries to support month-end and year-end close
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Manage cash application and ensure accurate posting of customer payments
Process and review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance
Assist with internal and external audit requests, including preparing supporting documentation
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules
Support inventory and cost accounting processes related to manufacturing operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and recommend process improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
3-5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
Strong understanding of GL accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Pay Details: $33.00 to $38.00 per hour
