The Product Solutions Manager is accountable for the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of the AHF product line, ensuring product functionality addresses customer needs, market requirements, and evolving power electronics technologies. The role serves as a key interface between commercial, engineering, and innovation teams, translating customer and market insights into prioritized product capabilities and differentiated solutions. In partnership with HPS and AEG sales and marketing teams, the Product Solutions Manager supports business growth, drives adoption of emerging technologies such as SiC, and expands application opportunities. Working closely with engineering, the role addresses emerging harmonic mitigation challenges introduced by new system components and develops strategies to extend harmonic mitigation capabilities into adjacent power electronics platforms, including UPS active front ends and other advanced power conversion systems.
Product Strategy and Multi Generation Roadmap Ownership
Own the definition and ongoing management of a 3–5 year, multi generational product roadmap for the AHF(and IHI) product line to ensure continued relevance, differentiation, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain a forward looking roadmap that balances near term customer requirements with longer term technology evolution and platform reuse.
- Incorporate market trends, customer use cases, competitive positioning, and technology readiness into roadmap prioritization.
- Ensure roadmap alignment with engineering development plans, innovation initiatives, and portfolio strategy across HPS and AEG.
- Regularly review and adjust roadmap priorities based on market feedback, technical feasibility, and business performance.
Commercial Alignment and Go to Market Enablement
Align product functionality and development priorities with commercialization strategies by partnering closely with HPS and AEG sales and marketing teams.
- Translate product capabilities and technology roadmaps into clear value propositions, target applications, geography, and market positioning.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify growth opportunities, emerging customer requirements, and application gaps across key segments.
- Support pricing, positioning, and portfolio rationalization decisions by providing product and application insights.
- Ensure commercial teams are equipped with accurate product messaging, differentiation, and application guidance to support growth objectives.
Harmonic Mitigation Innovation and Market Relevance
Lead market and technology focused research into how harmonic mitigation requirements are evolving and define strategies to address both near term and long term challenges
- Monitor how changes in system architectures, components, and end market requirements (e.g., data centers, Microgrids) are impacting harmonic mitigation challenges.
- Partner with engineering and innovation teams to evaluate solution approaches and technology pathways that preserve and extend MESTA’s relevance in harmonic mitigation.
- Assess how harmonic mitigation functionality can be adapted or embedded into adjacent power electronics platforms, including UPS active front ends and other advanced power conversion systems.
- Ensure product strategy anticipates future regulatory, performance, and application demands rather than reacting.
Cross-Functional Execution and Product Launch Support
Support effective execution of product development and successful product launches through close collaboration with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
- Act as the product authority during development cycles, ensuring requirements, use cases, and success criteria are clearly defined and understood.
- Coordinate cross functional readiness for product launches, including feature definition, application scope, and market introduction timing.
- Partner with engineering to resolve trade offs and prioritization decisions during development and validation phases.
- Support post launch feedback loops to capture customer input and inform continuous improvement and future roadmap updates.
