Value Enhancement Specialist

Location: Greenville, SC (TekReplay Processing Facility)
Reports to: Processing Manager / Processing Supervisor
Department: Operations

Since 2008, we’ve built our reputation on disciplined processes, consistent grading standards, and exceptional product presentation. As we scale across ecommerce marketplaces and direct-to-consumer channels, cosmetic quality and presentation are critical to customer trust, pricing power, and return reduction.

Role Overview

The Value Enhancement Specialist is a hands-on production role responsible for improving the cosmetic appearance, presentation quality, and readiness of devices prior to sale. This role focuses on professional cleaning, cosmetic grading, polishing, labeling, and packaging to ensure every device meets TekReplay’s quality and brand standards.

This is a full-time position; however, TekReplay is open to part-time options based on business needs and candidate availability. All Value Enhancement Specialists are held to the same quality, accuracy, and performance standards regardless of schedule.

Value Enhancement Specialists work closely with the Value Enhancement team to ensure devices move efficiently through the refurbishment workflow and are customer-ready before listing or shipment.

Key Responsibilities

Device Cleaning & Cosmetic Enhancement

Clean and sanitize devices using TekReplay-approved tools, materials, and techniques
Remove dirt, fingerprints, adhesive, residue, and cosmetic buildup
Polish screens, housings, and casings to improve overall presentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation

Cosmetic Grading & Quality Assessment

Accurately grade devices according to TekReplay’s cosmetic grading standards
Identify scratches, scuffs, dents, discoloration, and other cosmetic imperfections
Ensure grading is consistent, objective, and aligned with company standards
Flag devices with cosmetic concerns or inconsistencies for management review

Packaging, Labeling & Presentation

Apply correct product labels, barcodes, SKU, and serial information
Package devices in TekReplay-approved retail-ready or bulk packaging
Assemble boxes, inserts, accessories, and protective materials as required
Ensure final presentation meets TekReplay’s brand, marketplace, and customer expectations

Workflow, Communication & Team Collaboration

Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets
Communicate clearly with management regarding issues, defects, or delays
Follow all safety, handling, and quality control procedures
Maintain a dependable, team-oriented work presence

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Cosmetic grading accuracy and consistency
Devices processed per shift/day
Rework or quality exception rates
Packaging and labeling accuracy
Audit and quality review performance

Qualifications & Skills

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks with consistency
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Basic familiarity with smartphones, tablets, or consumer electronics preferred
Ability to follow standardized processes and meet daily output goals
Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic

No prior experience required — full training provided.

Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to perform fine motor tasks and handle small electronics
Comfortable working in a production and warehouse environment

Compensation & Employment Type

Hourly Pay Range: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level
Employment Type: Full-time (part-time options may be considered)
Overtime: Paid in accordance with labor laws
