Full Job Description

The position of Onsite Manager acts as an on-site extension of the client's HR function and direct representative of the company, managing all aspects of client contingent workforce, to include business relationship development and management of the contingent employees per contract requirements.

Hours: 6pm to 5am. 4 day/week shift

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operation & Personnel Management

Supports the operational needs associated with servicing a client where the headcount is up to 200 employees on a weekly basis.
Manages daily onsite operation by checking in new temporary employees, takes temporary employee attendance and call-offs, and ensures staff availability during work hours.
Maintains constant communication with clients regarding staffing levels.
Document candidates’ activities in CRM.
Develops and maintains quality standards for temporary employees.
Complies with all operational standards, badging and security requirements, and employment laws and regulations.
Stays current on the company’s and client’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Coaches/counsels temporary employees to improve performance, partner with clients to conduct performance reviews as required, and terminate employees as appropriate.
Acts as point of contact for the assigned employees in matters of payroll, absences, disputes, disciplinary actions, and etc.

Customer Focus

Builds and maintains strategic partnership with the client through developing an extensive and detailed understanding of the client’s business, strategic direction, processes, and policies and best practices.
Provides high level customer service and ensures compliance to all company and client rules and regulations.
Develops and maintains relationships with client management and supervisors to resolve employee issues, concerns and grievances as per existing company policy, and to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction possible.
Participates in production meetings to understand needs of client on as needed basis.

Leadership

Creates a positive, collaborative and balanced culture that fosters a team environment.
Leads with character, builds trust, respect and credibility through exemplary actions and behaviors.
Effectively and timely communicates difficult messages, expectations, goals, performance feedback, and accountability of responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Licensing/Certification Requirements:

3+ years non-exempt staffing and/or Onsite management experience.
1+ years previous supervisory or management experience.
Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools is a plus.
Minimum Associate Degree or 4+ plus years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.

Working Condition:

Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requires frequent standing and walking for extended periods in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
Specific hearing and verbal abilities required for phone use.
Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.

This position qualifies for commissions payment based on percent of gross profit and headcount. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), short/long term disability, life insurance, critical illness, and accident. 10 holidays and generous PTO accrual schedule based on seniority.
