Full Job Description

As an HR Support Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Volke Ltd. employees on HR-related matters. You will be responsible for payroll administration, employee records management, benefits administration, onboarding, and providing day-to-day HR support while helping ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

This is a part-time position. The role is primarily on-site; however, occasional remote work may be available based on business needs and supervisor approval.

Responsibilities:

Oversees office management activities, including administrative support and serving as the primary point of contact for external service providers.
Coordinates employment-based immigration processes, including Green Card applications, H-1B, and E-2 visa processes, while serving as the liaison with the third-party immigration law firm.
Assists employees with questions regarding company benefits and HR policies.
Prepares and processes payroll accurately, ensuring compliance and timely processing.
Coordinates new hire onboarding and orientation to provide positive employee experience from day one.
Manages employment verification, I-9 documentation, and other required pre-employment processes.
Reviews and resolves timekeeping discrepancies, including missed punches and attendance-related issues.
Administers employee leave and time-off requests in accordance with company policies and maintains accurate documentation.
Coordinates employee offboarding, including exit documentation, communication with stakeholders, equipment returns, and HR system updates.
Supports internal and external audits, reporting requests, and HR/payroll-related projects.
Assists with recruiting activities as needed.
Performs additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Two or more years of experience in payroll, accounting, human resources, or a related field.
Working knowledge of payroll processes, principles, and best practices.
Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including onboarding, HR administration, and employee support.
General knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
Experience with HRIS/payroll systems; iSolved experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex HR issues.
German language skills preferred but not required.
