Full Job Description

Summary

Our client is a growing, mission-driven organization seeking a highly organized and dependable Bookkeeper to support daily business operations.

The ideal candidate has a bookkeeping background, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service on a part-time basis in Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities

· Manage bookkeeping functions, including deposits, accounts payable, payroll, and financial recordkeeping.

· Oversee the daily operations of the office and ensure efficient administrative functions.

· Monitor organizational email accounts, correspondence, incoming calls, and general inquiries.

· Prepare monthly financial reports, recurring financial statements, and assist with budget tracking.

· Coordinate with the organization's external accountant to support annual audit preparation.

· Maintain the organizational calendar, facility scheduling, and office operations.

· Coordinate office, facility, and equipment maintenance while ensuring a safe and well-maintained work environment.

· Purchase and maintain office supplies, equipment, and other operational resources.

· Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers for activities and events.

· Maintain meeting records, organizational documentation, and other official records.

· Provide executive administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and assisting with special projects.

· Assist with preparing, printing, and distributing organizational communications and materials.

· Maintain a high level of professionalism, and customer service in all interactions.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree preferred.

· 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping

· Experience in office management, administrative support, or nonprofit administration.

· Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

· Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.

· High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

· Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks (or similar)

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:

Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
QuickBooks: 2 years (Required)
