Job Overview

Turner Family Law is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional individual to join our growing team as a Front Desk Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant.

In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients while providing administrative support to ensure the office operates efficiently. Responsibilities include managing front desk reception, client intake and communication, scheduling appointments, maintaining electronic and physical files, coordinating office operations, and supporting attorneys and staff with a variety of administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

· Client Intake & Reception

· Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.

· Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

· Conduct initial client intake by gathering necessary information and documentation.

· Schedule consultations, appointments, and meetings for attorneys and clients.

· Respond to general inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

Administrative Support

· Maintain organized electronic and physical client files in accordance with firm policies and legal requirements.

· Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing and filing documents accurately and efficiently.

· Ensure client communications, contracts, and legal documents are properly maintained and easily accessible.

· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.

· Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail, courier services, and shipping.

· Order, track, and restock office supplies and equipment.

· Maintain an organized, professional office environment.

· Resolve routine administrative issues and follow up with clients as needed.

· Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.

· Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

· Minimum of two (2) years of experience in office administration, legal administration, or a similar professional office environment preferred.

· Prior law firm experience is preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with legal software such as Clio, Timeslips, or similar case management and billing software is preferred.

· Reliable transportation to assist with courthouse filings, bank deposits, post office runs, and other business-related errands.

· Experience with legal case management, accounting, and client relationship management software is a plus.
