JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to help drive business process improvement and solution delivery across NetSuite and adjacent operational systems. This role will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to understand operational challenges, translate needs into clear system requirements, and design and implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency and support growth.
This person will play a key role in advancing larger strategic initiatives while also helping improve and optimize day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate brings deep NetSuite expertise, especially in order management, fulfillment, warehouse management, and inventory-driven workflows, along with the technical capability to build solutions directly or work effectively with developers when needed.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational pain points, goals, and process improvement opportunities
- Translate business needs into clear system requirements, solution options, and implementation plans
- Design, configure, build, test, and deploy solutions in NetSuite and related systems following best practices
- Lead or support initiatives involving order management, fulfillment, warehouse operations, inventory, sales, support, and related workflows
- Improve and optimize existing business processes to streamline operations and reduce manual effort, integrating AI solutions where applicable
- Analyze issues in existing configurations, workflows, scripts, and integrations and implement effective solutions
- Provide hands-on technical delivery across NetSuite configuration, SuiteScript, and related platform capabilities leveraging SDF-based tooling and git-controlled development workflows
- Support and enhance integrations and adjacent systems that interact with NetSuite
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical resources to ensure solutions align with business needs and platform best practices
- Document requirements, business rules, solution designs, and acceptance criteria
- Absorb some operational support and enhancement work, while maintaining focus on higher-value initiatives
- Keep leadership appropriately informed on requirements, tradeoffs, risks, and implementation progress
- Strong experience working in NetSuite in a business systems, techno-functional, developer, or similar role
- Deep knowledge of NetSuite order management, fulfillment, warehouse, and inventory-related processes
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration and customization
- Strong experience with SuiteScript using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and git-based version control to manage and deploy NetSuite code and configuration changes
- Experience designing and implementing solutions in operational environments with complex business processes
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand problems and turn them into practical system solutions
- Ability to independently analyze issues, propose options and tradeoffs, and drive solutions forward with appropriate involvement from leadership
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with business users across multiple functions
- Ability to balance strategic project work with tactical support and process improvement needs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with NetSuite WMS
- Experience with NetSuite Demand Planning and Customer Service Module
- Experience with NetSuite Connector
- Experience with Pacejet or similar shipping/logistics platforms
- Experience in environments involving ecommerce, B2B distribution, warehouse operations, Sales, and inventory management
- Experience writing acceptance criteria, implementation details, and supporting solution rollout
- Experience collaborating with developers or external technical resources when a solution requires broader implementation support
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Works in an office setting. The ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision
within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the office to access files or office equipment, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, handheld devices, copy machine, and computer printer, and operate and monitor various equipment. Must be able to position self to maintain equipment, including under tables and desks.
No heavy lifting is expected; exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
