Job Summary

Hutchco Home & Bath is a growing home improvement company serving South Carolina, North Carolina and surrounding areas. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Assistant Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. No bookkeeping experience is required—we are happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic bookkeeping and data entry
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
Answer phones and assist customers professionally
Prepare paperwork, reports, and company documents
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Help prepare bank deposits and organize financial records
Perform general administrative and office duties
Support the Owner, General Manager, and Office Manager with daily tasks and special projects
Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
QuickBooks experience is a plus.
Previous office or customer service experience is helpful.
