We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Technician to join our team in the Upstate. If you’re Mission focused, love caring for patients and ready to make an impact in a dynamic healthcare startup, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection using proper techniques to ensure specimen integrity

Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory testing according to established protocols

Maintain patient comfort and provide compassionate care during procedures

Follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent contamination or infection during specimen collection

Assist with patient service activities, including answering questions and providing instructions for specimen collection

Ensure all laboratory procedures comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area, adhering to infection control protocols

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support overall patient care and laboratory operations

What We’re Looking For:

Certification as a phlebotomist or 2 plus years of relevant experience as a phlebotomist

Proven experience in laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, or clinical laboratory.

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to blood sampling and specimen processing

Proficiency in venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen handling techniques

Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient service

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy

Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and infection control practices is essential

Experience with lab or EMR software preferred but not required
