Full Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated, driven individual who is eager to learn new systems and grow within our company. This role offers training, opportunities for advancement, and raises based on performance and results.

Training pay will be based on experience and paid at $16-$20 per hour during the training and probationary periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards
Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
Manage 3rd party software integrations for Housecall Pro, HubDoc, ServiceTitan, and more
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Generate financial reports and assist with data entry
Maintain accurate records of expenses and revenue
Provide clear and professional customer service, including answering phone calls and entering information into a customer database
Assist with writing blog posts and other duties as required by management

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of full-charge bookkeeping experience with references and a positive job history
Must know how to reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Experience beyond just accounts payable and accounts receivable is required
Business and accounting knowledge are preferred
Construction accounting experience is a plus but not required
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new systems

Training & Probationary Period:

The training period consists of 320 hours and is designed to ensure full mastery of essential concepts and job functions
The probationary period is 90 days, during which the training period takes place
Successful completion of the training period is required to continue beyond probation

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
