As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine armed patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. In this role, you will support a caring culture that values people first, working with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity to deliver exceptional service each day.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report concerns involving restricted areas, deliveries, or after-hours activity.
Support site operations by observing for equipment issues, environmental concerns, and/or policy violations, then communicating findings through required reports and chain-of-command notifications.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
