Our service department is the heart of our customer experience, and we're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our vibrant team. You'll be the crucial link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring every vehicle that enters our shop receives the best possible attention. Imagine being the person who turns a potentially stressful car repair into a smooth, positive experience. You'll use your expertise to guide customers, explain services with clarity, and build genuine rapport. Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Requirements

Proven experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership setting.
Deep understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with dealership management software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK) and standard office applications.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly as they arrive at the service department, making them feel welcome.
Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately translate their needs into repair orders.
Inspect vehicles with customers, clearly explaining recommended services and their benefits.
Provide accurate estimates for services and parts, managing customer expectations effectively.
Schedule service appointments efficiently, coordinating with the technician team.
Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any lingering questions.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process.
Process service payments and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
