Position Overview

Bilingual Clinicians will provide outpatient therapy services for individuals, families, couples, or groups to clients of Brave Hope Counseling. Clinical services include treatment for children, tweens & teens and adults. We are currently looking for a clinician to uphold our values and are ready to be a part of a dynamic and fun woman owned team.

Brave Hope Counseling is a fun, busy, urban mental health collective offering telehealth and in-person services. We are proud to be women owned and operated with a crew of passionate folx focused on the ultimate wellbeing of our clients. We support all people and try to meet them where they are. We believe that how a person looks, who they love or how they choose to be represented should not determine the kindness and care they receive from us.

Not only do we strive to care for our clients, but also our staff. We work closely with our team to create a well-balanced and manageable schedule. We offer Associate License clinicians free Clinical Supervision with employment. We understand that as women and people in social services we take on the burden of those around us. It is our goal to be transparent and open to begin changing that narrative.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform clinical counseling services to clients of Brave Hope Counseling, as scheduled and in accordance with company policies.
Conduct regular clinical services in a professional manner to maintain and increase the good will with clients and reputation of Brave Hope Counseling
Reliable and timely attendance for all clinical sessions and company trainings or meetings
Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Brave Hope Counseling.
Respond to clients and team members in a timely manner, within 24 hours of communication.
Communicate with the client's treatment team (i.e., PCP, school, family member, etc.) for case management or crisis prevention, when needed.
Complete clinical notes and records included but not limited to intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by BHC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion for clients in a timely manner, within 72 hours.
Attend mandatory staff training and meetings as directed by Brave Hope Counseling.
Regularly collaborate with Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, CEO & COO and other clinical staff
Follow all organization policies and procedures, clinical and administrative
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required Skills

OR: CSWA (Clinical Social Worker Associate), LMFTA (Licensed Marriage Family Therapist Associate) or LPCA (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
WA: LMHCA (Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate), LMFTA (Licensed Marriage Family Therapist Associate), LSWAIC (Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate)
Align with Brave Hope Counseling’s mission, values, and vision.
Master’s Degree in counseling or social work. A copy of a diploma or completed transcripts must be provided upon employment with BHC.
Active, unrestricted license in the state you reside and practice in (OR, or WA). A copy must be provided upon employment with BHC.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Prior experience in private or group practice setting
Bilingualism, Spanish, Cantonese & Mandarin preferred
At least three years’ experience in post-unrestricted licensure
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with knowledge in clinical documentation
Knowledge of Simple Practice EHR

Full Time Employment: 24 scheduled client sessions per week, 20 completed client sessions per week

Part Time Employment: n/a

Pay Range: (OR & WA) $48-$62 per hour

Clinical Supervisor provided at no cost with employment

Medical Benefits offered with Full Time employment, based on 24 scheduled client sessions, 20 completed clinical hours.. Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K

Vacation time off offered with employment.

Please note that active clients of Brave Hope Counseling or its affiliated providers are not eligible for employment at Brave Hope Counseling. By accepting a position, applicants become ineligible for clinical services during their tenure and after their departure, until all opportunities for personal or professional relationships are removed due to staff turnover.
