Full Job Description

About Us:
We are a well-established, physician-owned Rheumatology private practice in the Portland area focused on delivering personalized, high-quality care to our patients. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Infusion RN to join our dedicated team. We are also open to hiring an experienced RN for a Supervisor/Lead role within our infusion department. This is a full-time, weekday-only position in a calm, patient-focused outpatient setting.

Position Summary:
The Infusion RN will administer biologic and specialty infusions, monitor patients during treatment, and provide patient education and support. For candidates with leadership experience, there is an opportunity to serve as a Supervisor RN, providing clinical oversight and support to infusion staff. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities:

Administer IV infusions, including biologics and specialty medications
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately
Perform IV insertions and maintain venous access devices
Educate patients about medications and treatment plans
Document all care provided accurately and timely in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and office staff
(Supervisor RN candidates) Provide clinical guidance, workflow support, and mentorship to infusion staff as needed

Qualifications:

Current Oregon RN license (required)
Minimum of 2 years of IV infusion experience (preferred)
BLS certification (required)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience (preferred for Supervisor RN role)
Experience in rheumatology, oncology, or other infusion specialties a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
Comfortable with EMR systems and clinical documentation

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
No weekends, evenings, or holidays
