Full Job Description

Portland Hospital Service Corp (a cooperative hospital laundry facility) is seeking a Customer Service & Transportation Manager.

Key duties include:

Maintain close and regular contact with all customers. Conducts customer site visits including clinics and non-owner customers as facilitated and/or allowed by customers.
Supervise transportation department, including 6 direct reports and working with General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure cost effective route designs.
Maintains customer contact lists including names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses
Works to provide regular performance indicator reports to customers including but not limited to fill rates, quality, and utilization changes. Works in conjunction with Production Supervisors to ensure on-time deliveries.
Coordinates linen plant tours by customer groups.
Respond to and resolves customer complaints/issues.
Helps facilitate inventory management and product flow
Reports to plant management on service related issues and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

Who is our ideal candidate?

5 years of supervisory & transportation experience
Team player
Ability to work with a diverse customer population
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good computer and analytic skills
Valid driver's license
Will use own vehicle for site visits - reimbursed mileage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
