Instructional Aide Subs Needed | Flexible Per Diem Opportunities

Spindle is seeking motivated instructional aides to play a crucial role in supporting students in school-based settings near Marysville, CA. If you’re passionate about helping learners thrive, these per diem positions offer flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference with every shift. You’ll assist students 1:1, ensuring they get the guidance and encouragement needed to succeed both academically and personally.

Position Highlights:

Take shifts on an as-needed, per diem basis that fit your schedule
Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom environments
Work with students individually or in small groups, following teacher direction
Help implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Assist with daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, and personal care
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
Support supervision and mobility, offering hands-on help as necessary

Mandatory Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years old
TB test (as required by district guidelines)
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to start

Preferred Experience:

Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus (not mandatory)
Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
