Quality Manager/Plant Manager

Position Summary

The Quality Team Manager serves as the primary customer contact for all quality-related matters. This position coordinates customer communication, manages customer concerns, supports quality investigations, and ensures customer satisfaction through effective collaboration with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Management.

This position is intended for a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training to develop knowledge of quality systems, customer requirements, and manufacturing processes while building a career in automotive customer quality management.

Essential Job Duties

Customer Quality Management

Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding quality-related matters.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customer quality representatives.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and quality concerns.
Coordinate customer meetings, conference calls, audits, and plant visits.
Represent NVH professionally during customer interactions.

Customer Complaint Management

Receive, document, and coordinate customer quality concerns.
Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality personnel to investigate customer issues.
Coordinate containment activities and corrective actions.
Track customer concerns through completion.
Ensure timely communication and follow-up with customers.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare customer quality reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Maintain customer complaint records and quality documentation.
Track corrective actions and customer action items.
Assist with customer scorecards and quality performance metrics.
Maintain organized documentation for audits and customer reviews.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Communicate customer quality requirements to internal departments.
Coordinate quality improvement initiatives across multiple departments.
Support product launches and engineering changes.
Assist with customer-requested quality improvements.
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Logistics, and Management to ensure customer satisfaction.

Continuous Improvement

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action follow-up.
Support ISO, IATF, and customer-specific quality requirements.
Recommend improvements to customer communication and quality processes.

Training

This position includes on-the-job training. Employees will be trained on inspection procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements.

Bilingual in Korean or Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk and work throughout the manufacturing facility.
Ability to stand for extended periods during customer visits and plant walkthroughs.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
