Full Job Description

Hilton Mystic is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team in Mystic, CT. This role is essential in supporting the HR department with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks to ensure smooth HR operations and foster a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment efforts including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Maintain and update employee records in HR databases and files.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and documentation.
Coordinate employee training sessions and track attendance.
Provide administrative support for payroll and benefits processing.
Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Assist in organizing company events and employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in an HR coordination or administrative role preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
