We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Coordinator II to oversee the daily operations and service delivery of an assigned residential program — supervising a team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe, recovery-oriented environment for clients and staff alike.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits
- Multiple Medical Plans to fit your needs and budget
- Dental & Vision Insurance
- 403(b) Retirement Plan with 10% employer match at 1 year
- Vacation and Sick accruals
- 11 paid Holidays
- 40 hours of paid Education/Training annually
- Paid Licensure Reimbursement
- Meaningful leadership work making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals in recovery
What You'll Do:
As Service Coordinator II, you will serve as an operational leader for your assigned residence — balancing direct staff supervision with hands-on support to ensure that clients receive high-quality, consistent care every day. You will collaborate closely with leadership and across departments to maintain safety, compliance, and a strong team culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and support program staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and professional development
- Orient and train new staff on residence-specific technology, systems, required documentation, and client support
- Create schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and staffing levels for each shift in alignment with applicable regulations and policies
- Facilitate and oversee the medication self-administration process and ensure compliance with protocols required by the assigned residence, as applicable
- Ensure that client medications are available and properly disposed of at the time of discharge in accordance with assigned residence protocols; ensure staff are well trained in this process, for programs without required nursing oversight
- Manage medical, behavioral, emergency, or outside problems quickly and efficiently, maintaining a safe environment and notifying the appropriate authority or management staff as needed
- Identify and report incidents and potential risk situations promptly, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, licensing, and regulatory standards in the residence
- Ensure required documentation, policies, and standards of work are followed within the scope of organizational protocols
- Provide direct care as needed to meet contractual and licensing regulatory requirements
- Orient clients to the residence and review program rules and regulations
- Provide on-call support and respond to crises to ensure continuity and quality of services; may be required to address urgent issues after hours
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor census forecasts, staffing patterns, and general program concerns
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to coordinate services and resources
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for staff
- Attend on-site and off-site meetings and training as required
- Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of duties
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least two years of leadership experience, ideally in a recovery or related residential program; an Associate's degree and equivalent experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to drive an agency vehicle
- CPR Certification required within 6 months of employment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop staff, including recovery technicians, case managers, and recovery coaches
- Commitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to respond effectively to changing priorities and after-hours situations
