Stampede currently owns and operates more than 150 miles of crude gathering and transportation pipeline and over 175 miles of produced water gathering pipeline across more than one million combined dedicated acres. Stampede also operates a robust fresh water supply, storage, and distribution system, as well as the Ren Compressor Station and associated gas gathering and gas lift infrastructure in the northeastern DJ Basin. Stampede currently transports more than 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day, 100,000 barrels of produced water per day, and gathers more than 75 MMcf of natural gas per day.

The Compressor Station Operator is a key contributor to the safe, reliable, and efficient development of our oil and gas assets. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring compressor stations, dehydration equipment, pipelines, and associated facilities to ensure uninterrupted gas flow and optimal system performance. By maintaining the integrity and reliability of critical infrastructure, the Compressor Station Operator directly supports production goals, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the long-term success of our business.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Perform routine operational inspections of assigned compressor stations, dehydration units, pipelines, and related production facilities.
- Monitor and optimize equipment performance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
- Measure and accurately record oil, gas, and water production volumes.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit daily production and operational reports.
- Identify equipment performance issues and communicate operational concerns in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot operational problems and perform minor maintenance repairs when appropriate.
- Coordinate corrective maintenance activities and communicate equipment repair needs to maintenance personnel and contractors.
- Schedule and track preventive maintenance activities in accordance with company standards and manufacturer recommendations.
- Witness purchaser measurements, gauge volumes, and conduct testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support pipeline and facility integrity activities through routine inspections and maintenance.
- Maintain lease sites and facilities, including fencing, signage, vegetation management, and general housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, environmental requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Participate in emergency response activities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience (required):
- High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas operations, preferably in the DJ basin.
- Experience working as a Compressor Station Operator, Pipeline Operator, Gas Plant Operator, or in a similar operational role.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting gas compression equipment and TEG dehydration systems.
- Experience with pipeline operations and maintenance practices.
- Working knowledge of asset management, maintenance management, or work order management systems.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations governing natural gas transportation and pipeline operations.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Ability to wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, steel-toed boots, and other protective equipment as required.
- Ability to walk, climb, kneel, crouch, stoop, bend, and work in varying field environments on a regular basis.
- Ability to safely climb stairs and vertical ladders, including ladders exceeding 10 feet in height.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements involving the hands, arms, shoulders, and back.
- Ability to work at elevated heights and around rotating or pressurized equipment.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel between field locations.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, wind, precipitation, and other environmental conditions.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergency situations.
- Regular exposure to industrial environments that may include noise, vibration, hydrocarbons, chemicals, and other operational hazards.

Additional Information
Compensation
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $43.00 - $46.00 hourly in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.

Location
This position is located Briggsdale, CO. This position isn’t available for remote work. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, no relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position.
Work Environment
This position operates in a field environment. This entails working outside in variable weather conditions. Employee could be exposed to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations or dust.
Physical Demands
In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position.
Position Type and Working Hours
This is a full-time position. This position will require working nights and weekends occasionally as dictated by the operational needs of the field. Typical work hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Employees must be capable and willing to work overtime as required. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours.
Schedule
This position requires a 12-hour shift, ensuring continuous coverage and operational efficiency. The current schedule is eight (8) days on with six (6) days off (subject to change). As part of the work schedule, you will be expected to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Night shifts and overnight shifts are essential to maintain round-the-clock operations and optimize production. Overtime may be required.
Travel
Routine, even daily, travel to remote locations will be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, or visits to other company office locations.
