Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Guide guests through wine tastings, explaining varietals, flavor profiles, and pairings
Provide exceptional customer service and create a warm, engaging atmosphere
Promote and sell wine bottles, merchandise, and wine club memberships
Process transactions accurately using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and bar area
Set up and break down for events, tastings, and private parties
Restock wine, supplies, and merchandise as needed
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and winery policies

Qualifications

Previous hospitality, bar, or customer service experience preferred
Passion for wine and willingness to learn (wine knowledge is a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sales-driven mindset with the ability to upsell products
Must be 21+ and able to responsibly serve alcohol
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, social environment

Work Environment

Fast-paced tasting room with live music, events, and social gatherings
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
Standing for long periods and lifting up to 25–50 lbs may be required
