Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist & Event Host to be the welcoming face of our firm. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate client interactions, and host prospect and client events. Your organizational skills and friendly demeanor will ensure a professional and inviting environment for clients and visitors alike.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Client and Visitor Relations

Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
Assist clients with inquiries and route requests to appropriate team members.
Ensure a positive client experience and maintain high service standards.
Maintain a neat, clean and professional office environment

Administrative Support

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence.
Perform data entry and update client information in company systems.
Draft, format, and distribute letters, reports, and other documents.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information.
Follow company policies and financial industry regulations.

Office Operations

Maintain reception and common areas in a professional manner.
Monitor office supplies and place orders when needed.
Coordinate office equipment maintenance and vendor services.
Support special projects and company events.
Main office location is Cheshire, CT but some travel to other locations in Southport and Madison is required

Event Hosting

Work in conjunction with Operations Manager to execute firm’s workshops and client events
Serve as the primary host and point of contact for event attendees.
Welcome clients, prospects, and business partners while ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Assist with guest registration, seating arrangements, and event flow.
Address attendee questions and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Oversee all event operations on-site.
Provide a warm, welcoming environment for all attendees

Required Skills

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
