Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team and drive business growth. In this pivotal role, you will develop strategic sales plans, foster strong customer relationships, and oversee daily store operations to ensure exceptional service and achievement of sales targets. Your leadership will inspire team members, enhance retail performance, and promote a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about retail sales, management, and customer engagement.

Duties

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching and supervision
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and POS (Point of Sale) systems
Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques
Manage recruiting processes, interview candidates, and handle onboarding to build a high-performing team
Supervise cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy and integrity
Maintain excellent customer service standards by resolving issues promptly and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment
Coordinate marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to attract customers and boost sales
Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing decisions, and store safety protocols including shift management

Experience

Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with a focus on team supervision and leadership
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer purchasing decisions effectively
Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting performance evaluations
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
Familiarity with POS systems, retail math (pricing strategies), inventory management software, and cash handling procedures
Demonstrated skills in employee orientation, training & development programs, budgeting, merchandising, and marketing strategies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams efficiently while maintaining organizational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment
