Requirements:
To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years hospital billing, collections, or patient financial experience. Minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a healthcare revenue cycle setting. Experience with payment posting, cash reconciliation, credit balance resolution, and refund processing as well as managing self-pay accounts, receivables, statement cycles, early out and collection agency vendor relationship management & contract oversight and patient payment plans. Must have strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as proficiency with Excel and a working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer billing requirements including UB-04/8371 and CMS 1500/837P claim formats. EPIC community connect experience strongly preferred. CAH, rural health or community hospital revenue cycle experience.
- Licenses/Certification: AAHAM certification (CRCP/CRCE) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.

Compensation: $33.71 - $42.14/hr, depending on experience.
