Two Bilingual School Support Assistants/T1s Needed – Fajardo
We are looking for two dependable, patient bilingual English/Spanish School Support Assistants/T1s:
• One for a 10th-grade high school student
• One for an 8th-grade middle school student
School hours: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Work calendar: School days only; no work during school holidays, Christmas break, summer break, or other days when school is closed
Location: Fajardo, Puerto Rico
Pay: $10.50 per hour (pay is set by Department of Education).
The assistants will help the students stay focused, organize and complete assignments, manage transitions, and use positive reinforcement. Candidates must communicate comfortably in both English and Spanish and work closely with teachers, special-education staff, and the family.
Selected candidates must complete the Puerto Rico Department of Education’s Remedio Provisional approval and contracting requirements.
