Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.

Essential Functions:

Performs a variety of routine to complex sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds in a variety of formulations.
Follows validated or experimental analytical procedures with periodic direct supervision.
Responsible for review and compilation of results and data comparison against SOP acceptance criteria, methodology, protocol, and product specifications.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
Experience equal to 2-4 years in a pharmaceutical lab.

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Possess working knowledge and/or experience in modern analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC and general wet chemistry.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority, compendia, and ICH guidelines.
Have experience in pharmaceutical research and development or in providing analytical chemistry support.
Working knowledge in a GxP environment is highly preferred.
Have training in or will be trained in areas such as chromatographic methods, use of analytical tools and other pharmaceutical analysis.
Familiar with peer review and verification practices.
Have experience with MS Office.
Have the ability to work effectively in team situations and to work independently as needed. Have the flexibility to succeed in a dynamic and changing environment.
Have a firm command of the English language and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to perform tasks.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Time management and project management skills.
Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a team.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $30.14–$35.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
