Guthrie County Hospital has an opening for a On Call Weekend Package Radiology Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. This position will be on call from 6:00pm Friday unit 6:00am Monday for a flat rate per weekend. MUST be within a 20 minute response time to the facility.

The Radiology Technologist will provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform both general x-ray and CT
Produces accurate, well-defined images.
Assures that all required consent forms are signed prior to examinations.
Practices radiation safety for self and patients’ safety.
Processes images and prepare them for reading by the radiologist.

Requirements:

Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiologic Technology program
Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed by the state of Iowa as a General Radiology Technologist
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
One year experience preferred
