Full Job Description

Job Summary
Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments Answer incoming calls, route messages, and manage voicemails Schedule new and follow-up appointments Collect and verify patient demographics and update EMR records Manage daily patient intake forms and assist with pre-visit paper work.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment

Insurance Verification: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments. Obtain and document authorizations and referrals when required. Accurately input insurance information into the system. Communicate coverage details and financial responsibilities to patients. Collaborate with billing department on claim issues and denials. Monitor upcoming appointments to ensure insurance details are verified in advance.

Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent, driver’s license & reliable mode of transportation, willingness to travel to local satellite offices occasionally.

Preferred: Experience in medical reception or billing, especially in a pain management or specialty setting. Familiarity with verifying commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation Working knowledge of EMR systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Verify patient insurance information and handle medical collections as necessary.
Manage incoming calls using multi-line phone systems and respond to inquiries.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist with patient intake and provide administrative support to medical staff.
Utilize EHR systems to update patient information and schedule appointments.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
