Fastest Labs of Hagerstown is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Collection Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen collections including urine, hair, and oral fluid drug testing
- Conduct breath alcohol testing (BAT) following proper chain-of-custody procedures
- Accurately document and process collection paperwork and electronic records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant collection facility
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience for all clients and donors
- Adhere to DOT and non-DOT collection guidelines and protocols
- Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding collection results and issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in specimen collection, phlebotomy, or a medical setting preferred
- DOT/DAPM collection certification a plus (training will be provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible part-time schedule
