We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and help build efficient, reliable processes that support both our direct-to-consumer and B2B businesses.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, staffing, safety, and process improvement.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage people and operations while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase accuracy, and create scalable processes.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing durable goods and e-commerce fulfillment operations, understands domestic and international freight, and is comfortable working with ERP/WMS systems. This individual should be highly organized, analytical, solutions-oriented, and able to work effectively with Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and other teams.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory control.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time across e-commerce and B2B channels, including Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s and other key customers.
- Establish and maintain efficient warehouse workflows that support current operations and future growth.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, packaging, and movement of durable goods to minimize product damage, shipping issues, and customer returns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure system inventory matches physical inventory.
- Establish and manage cycle-count programs, physical inventories, inventory audits, and system reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, and variances.
- Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP/WMS system, preferably Acumatica.
- Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain to identify inventory risks and improve inventory availability.
Freight & Transportation
- Manage and negotiate freight rates and service levels with LTL, FTL, parcel, international, and local carriers.
- Evaluate carrier performance, pricing, claims, transit times, and service levels.
- Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs while maintaining or improving delivery performance.
- Review freight-related issues, including damages, claims, accessorial charges, and delivery exceptions.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners.
Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, train, and develop warehouse personnel, including warehouse leads, forklift operators, pick/pack associates, and other team members.
- Establish clear expectations for productivity, accuracy, attendance, safety, and overall performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adequate staffing and coverage based on workload, seasonality, and business needs.
Process Improvement & Cost Control
- Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and scalability.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to reduce labor, freight, packaging, storage, and other operational costs.
- Lead initiatives that improve order accuracy, shipping performance, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Use operational data and KPIs to identify problems, measure results, and drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations leadership to ensure fulfillment objectives are met.
- Work collaboratively to resolve order, inventory, shipping, and customer-related issues.
- Communicate warehouse capacity, operational constraints, and potential risks proactively.
- Support new customer, product, and sales-channel launches from an operational and fulfillment perspective.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, company safety policies, and applicable warehouse regulations.
- Maintain proper forklift and equipment safety practices and ensure employees receive required training.
- Establish and enforce safe material-handling procedures.
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain appropriate documentation related to safety, training, inspections, and compliance.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Establish, monitor, and report key warehouse KPIs, including:
- Order accuracy
- On-time shipment rate
- Inventory accuracy
- Receiving accuracy and turnaround time
- Picking and packing productivity
- Freight cost per shipment
- Damage and return rates
- Labor productivity
- Inventory discrepancies
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into warehouse performance.
- Present operational results, challenges, and improvement initiatives to leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management or warehouse operations leadership experience, preferably within durable goods, e-commerce, distribution, or B2B environments.
- Proven experience managing a warehouse team and overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and freight processes.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing freight with LTL, FTL, parcel, and local carriers.
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems; Acumatica, NetSuite, or similar platforms strongly preferred.
- Experience managing inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, operational reporting, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement measurable improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
- OSHA certification or strong knowledge of warehouse safety requirements is a plus.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting Amazon FBA and other major e-commerce marketplaces.
- Familiarity with Home Depot, Lowe’s, and other major retailer vendor requirements and routing guides.
- Experience managing oversized, heavy, fragile, or high-value durable goods.
- Experience implementing or improving warehouse KPI dashboards.
- Proven track record of reducing freight, labor, or warehouse operating costs.
- Experience implementing warehouse SOPs and scalable operational processes.
- Experience with warehouse automation, barcode scanning, inventory technology, or other process-improvement tools.
- Experience supporting international shipments and import/export processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, accountable, and highly organized leader who understands that an efficient warehouse is critical to the company's overall success.
You should be comfortable moving between strategic planning and day-to-day execution—from reviewing warehouse KPIs and negotiating freight rates to walking the floor, solving an urgent shipping issue, and coaching a team member.

Schedule & Work Environment
This is an on-site position based in Miami, FL.
The Warehouse Manager must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional weekends or extended hours during peak periods, high-volume seasons, inventory counts, or other business-critical situations.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
