Full Job Description

As Director of Innovation, you will be responsible for building the operational and innovation engine of WeFoods. Your role is to transform promising product ideas into scalable, repeatable manufacturing systems while establishing the people, processes, and infrastructure necessary to support the Company's long-term growth.

During the Company's next stage of development, your primary areas of focus will include:

Optimizing manufacturing operations and production efficiency.
Establishing production SOPs, quality systems, and operational processes.
Leading product commercialization from development through commercial production.
Identifying, evaluating, and implementing manufacturing equipment and automation.
Planning and developing future manufacturing facilities and production capacity.
Building the systems, processes, and teams that enable WeFoods to scale while maintaining exceptional product quality.
Working alongside the founders to develop the long-term manufacturing and operational strategy of the business.

As the Company grows, you will lead product innovation, process engineering, manufacturing strategy, packaging innovation, food safety, commercialization, and the long-term development of the WeFoods product platform.

Experience & Expertise

We are looking for a leader who brings:

Significant hands-on experience in professional baking and commercial food production, with expertise in bread and/or bagel manufacturing.
Experience developing products from concept through commercial production.
A proven ability to scale production systems while maintaining consistency and quality.
Strong knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
Experience leading and developing high-performing culinary or manufacturing teams.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
