Compensation: $10–$12 USD/hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonuses

About the Role
As a Bilingual Legal Assistant, you will serve as a critical point of contact for our Spanish-speaking clients during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Your ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally in both English and Spanish will help ensure our clients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their legal journey.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a team dedicated to providing outstanding client service.
What You’ll Do:
Client Communication & Support
- Serve as a primary liaison for Spanish-speaking clients.
- Conduct client calls, meetings, and case status updates.
- Respond to client inquiries, emails, and phone calls in a timely, solution-oriented manner.
- Ensure clients receive consistent communication and support throughout their case.
Case Management & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized client files within our case management system.
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, including Letters of Representation and other routine communications.
- Manage calendars, appointments, deadlines, and scheduling.
- Complete assigned tasks and workflows within established deadlines.
Records & Evidence Collection
- Coordinate requests for medical records, medical bills, wage loss documentation, and medical reports.
- Follow up with healthcare providers, employers, insurance companies, and vendors to obtain necessary records and information.
- Track outstanding requests and proactively manage follow-up efforts to keep cases moving forward.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with attorneys, legal staff, medical providers, vendors, and outside professionals.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and client experience.

Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to learn and utilize case management and legal technology platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a law firm, legal support role, or client-service environment
- Personal injury law experience
- Experience using Filevine or similar case management software
- Experience obtaining medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
