IT Support Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Technician to join our dynamic technology team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, solutions, and system configurations.
Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
Educate users on best practices for using technology resources securely and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common software applications.
Familiarity with networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or degree preferred.
