About the Position
The Manufacturing Plant Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day production operations at ElectriBuilt, an independent manufacturing company dedicated to the design, production, and delivery of modular electrical power and data infrastructure products. This role oversees the entire facility, supervises manufacturing staff, and ensures that electrical skids and engineered-to-order (ETO) products are built safely, on schedule, to quality standards, and ready to connect on-site. In alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives, and regulations, the Manufacturing Operations Manager drives execution on the production floor and serves as a key link between frontline manufacturing teams and senior leadership. All work will happen in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations.

Day in the Life
- Manage and oversee daily production floor operations, ensuring electrical skids and ETO products are built to specification, on schedule, and within budget.
- Consistently make decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others. Enforce a culture of safety without compromise on the production floor and throughout all manufacturing activities.
- Maintain factory harmony and address any conflict that may arise in the factory.
- Responsible for Key Performance Indicators regarding Safety, Production, Quality and Throughput.
- Lead, develop, and retain frontline manufacturing staff and skilled tradespeople; set performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback to maintain a high-performing, engaged production team.
- Partner closely with pre-production team to translate customer designs, specs and production agreements into production-ready build packages. Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain on material availability and inventory needs. Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on production status, schedule risks, and quality issues.
- Oversee production team that schedules, capacity plans, and execute workflow sequencing to maximize throughput and meet customer delivery commitments. Track and report key production metrics including output, cycle times, quality yields, and on-time delivery.
- Support facility and equipment readiness, including day-to-day maintenance coordination and escalation of repair needs to ensure minimal production downtime. Ensure the facility environment remains safe, organized, and compliant with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
- Supports hiring decisions, onboarding, and ongoing training of production staff. Provides regular performance feedback and coaches employees to build skills and resolve issues proactively. Ensure production staffing meets demand.
- Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
- Utilize LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient manufacturing operations, processes, and activities. Monitor and enforce quality inspection protocols and testing procedures to ensure all products are delivered ready to connect in the field.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role overseeing production staff.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, or industrial manufacturing environments; exposure to ETO (engineered-to-order) or modular/skid-based production highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to drive production output, manage schedules, and hold teams accountable in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, quality control processes, and LEAN/continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong people management and communication skills; ability to motivate a diverse frontline workforce and resolve issues constructively.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and build specifications; familiarity with electrical systems, power distribution, or data infrastructure products is a plus.
- Comfortable operating in a startup manufacturing environment; adaptable, solutions-oriented, and able to make sound decisions with a sense of urgency.
- Experience with LEAN methodologies and/or similar continuous improvement applications. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
