Job Duties and Preferred Qualifications:

About the Role
Are you a dedicated Human Services professional ready to make a community impact and lead a team? As a Clinician II with Employment Services, you will empower adults with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral health disabilities to achieve competitive, integrated employment. You will balance direct client advocacy with leadership, guiding a dedicated support team to ensure service excellence, compliance, and life-changing employment outcomes.

Specific Duties

Conduct situational assessments, build individualized service plans (ISPs), and provide targeted job training to help clients secure and maintain employment.
Build robust relationships with local businesses, coordinate care with families and support teams, and advocate for inclusive workplaces.
Provide direct oversight, training, and regular one-on-one supervision to a team of Clinician I, DS Employment Specialists, and Direct Support Professionals.
Manage documentation, billing processes, and chart compliance to meet CARF accreditation, state policy, and reimbursement standards.
Maintain client well-being using Therapeutic Options Techniques during behavioral crises and transport clients safely using city or personal vehicles.
Maintain a monthly productivity level of 50% or above in billable and client-related services.
Provide supervision, training and support to team members, and other staff as assigned, to ensure performance expectations are met.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) or eligible and have three (3) or more years’ experience working with the intellectually and/or developmentally disabled population.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a four (4) year degree in a human services field (psychology, mental health, special education, social work) and three (3) years’ experience working with persons with intellectual disability OR experience and/or training equivalent to seven (7) years in fields providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for working with persons with intellectual disabilities.
Must have a current and valid driver’s license.

Special Requirements: Professional licensure as a QDDP (Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional) is required. All employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
