Duties

Prepare and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency across all dishes
Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
Support kitchen staff during busy periods by managing multiple orders simultaneously
Adhere to safety standards in production, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly preferred
Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production
Strong knife skills and proficiency in slicing techniques for efficient food preparation
Experience with meal preparation, catering, or dietary department work is a plus
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with food handling regulations and safe food industry practices
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving customers and supporting colleagues
