As a Level I Maternal Care and Nursery facility, we provide personalized, family-centered care close to home. How you'll contribute
An OB RN Director who excels in this role:

Provides and coordinates care of the OB patient using nursing process.

Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.

Performs performance improvement studies and assists with implementation of PI initiatives.

Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.

Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.

Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.

Provides and coordinates patient educational needs, specifically to Labor and Delivery.

Performs other job duties as assigned

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
4-years Labor and Delivery experience (preferred)
2-years leadership experience in healthcare (preferred)
NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, STABLE (current or within 1 year)
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
